From the dawn of
time, deep within the heart of humankind has burned the desire for high adventure. Born of this desire, from the dark and murky
depths of the brine, arose a crew of cutthroats so feared it was said they sailed on the breath of Satan himself. They pillaged
the seven seas defiantly flying the colors of "no mercy." Their reign of terror was beyond one's darkest nightmares.
Be ye warned, The Brethren Of The Coast have risen once again and set sail.
We be a jolly crew of adventurous, fun-lovin' souls, out lookin' to relieve heavily laden ships and individuals of their burdens! Our activities include costume, dance, and swordmanship workshops, pirate movie marathons, tavern and beach parties, whale watches, sea battles complete with cannon fire, pirate balls and banquets, and Renaissance Faire encampments. The Brethren of the Coast is an award winning historical theatre guild dedicated to an accurate and colorful portrayal of Pirates during the Golden Age of Piracy. The goal of adherence to authenticity in attire, customs, weaponry, and battle skills is the driving force behind this group.
The Brethren is composed of talented performers who possess skills in theater, stunt work, martial arts, special effects, sword fighting, costume design and construction, sailing, flintlocks, muskets, cannons, set and lighting design and construction, music, dance, and historical interpretation. If you be yearnin' for some high-seas adventure, and you would like to join our swarthy crew of cutthroats, send an email to receive more information. Kindly include your name, mailing and email address, phone number, and any interests or special talents you'd like to share. The Captain will look over yer request, and if it pleases him, you'll be soon singing, swordfighting and dancing a jig with our fine pirate guild! |
